A New Direction
If you look at the dates on my blog, I haven’t exactly been the best at keeping it up. That’s because I’ve struggled to find topics I feel my readers will be interested in. This last weekend, however, I was given the opportunity to teach a class on self-publishing at the League of Utah Writers Conference. I was quite nervous to teach because I haven’t been in that situation before, but the class went much better than I hoped. Afterwards, my table was swarmed with readers and writers asking for information about self-publishing. The misconceptions I heard about self-publishing made me realize that there is a great need for more information on the subject.
I have self-published sixteen books as of today (yesterday was my sixteenth!), and through my experiences I feel like I have a lot to share on the matter. Because of this, I am turning my blog into information and insight in the self-publishing world. If you feel this is a topic you would like to learn more of, please check back from time to time and follow this blog because I will continue to add information I feel will help you. Thank you for reading.
